About The Film Makers
Beattie Productions
Nervous Water (title): filmed in Colorado in the dead of winter, New Zealand in the heart of summer, Texas in the fall and Papua New Guinea during the rainy season - Nervous Water depicts the thrilling pursuits of four groups of anglers, each hopelessly obsessed with the fish they love - Brown Trout, Cutbows, Redfish and Marlin.
Mad Phil Media
Phil Jagger started shooting video about five years ago when, along with Geoff Anderson, he would travel to the far south coast of Western Australia and film their exploits as they fished the many rivers and estuary systems in the region. Editing short cuts to music (to obtain the surf/skate feel) the films were shown to friends and family. This soon sparked his interest in pursuing a more serious path in the world of fishing based production.
World Angling
Will Benson met Dave Teper during the summer of 2007. With a shared interest in saltwater fly fishing and film production, it became obvious that the two could combine talents and create a new type production company. Will's insight as a professional guide and film maker matched perfectly with Dave's skills as an editor and programmer. The result was World Angling Media Group; a company that seeks to achieve the highest level in saltwater fly fishing entertainment for web content, print media, and tv broadcasting.
Creekside Media
Terry Wolvert and Creekside Media are proud to partner with Chris Keig and the WebEye Group to produce the final two epic adventures of the trout bums. Metalhead and Trout Bum Diaries III - The Final Chapter, will be the last two films released under this label, but don't be surprised if you see new films and a fresh faced group of hard-core fish bums that live for the passion of fly fishing and understand the struggles and sacrifices required to live the dream. Hint: Daddy does not live here anymore to pay the rent and real movie stars live in Hollywood.

Last Cast Media
Dave Gasperik and Bruce Brosnan had to travel to a remote airstrip in Alaska to meet up and become fishing buddies, even though they lived only a short distance from each other in L.A. It didn't take long for each to realize a fellow fishing fanatic had been found. After ten years of fishing and photographing Alaska together they both knew it was time to put down the rod and pick up a video camera and make a film. This was a natural progression considering Dave is a cameraman working on feature films and television in Hollywood. Bruce has spent time as both a photographer and an art director and currently works in the outdoor industry in the midwest. Their first short "Hoodoo Style" took them to the remote Aleutian Islands in Alaska to film topwater flyfishing for Silvers.
