2008 FLY FISHING FILM TOUR CALL FOR ENTRIES
The 2008 Fly Fishing Film Tour will be hitting big screens across the country this winter!
This years tour will screen at 70 venues to over 20,000 people and is the biggest fly fishing film event in the country.
If you were lucky enough to catch the film tour last winter, then you already know how kick ass this event is.
Okay, so here’s the deal. We aren’t looking for Joe Blows 10 minute handy cam video footage of his big fish that he raked off the river bottom, and we aren’t looking for the Saturday morning cable program here’s my big lodge and this is my celebrity guest who we are going to teach how to fish footage either.
We are looking for the coolest baddest most unique fly fishing films.
Film Categories Include:
CONSERVATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL/DOCUMENTARY
Program that features or emphasizes environmental or conservation issues/topics which directly impact wild fish species and their habitat.
HUMAN-WILDLIFE INTERACTIONS
Program that emphasizes social, cultural, economic, or spiritual aspects of people and their relationship with Fly Fishing.
SPECIES
Program made with an emphasis on a particular species of fish (Salt or Fresh). Not necessarily an environmental or conservation program.
ADVENTURE/LIFESTYLE
Program that documents an exploratory fly fishing expedition to any part of the world.
The focus of the film tour is entertainment, not promotional advertisements!
No “Self Help”, “Instructional” ,”How To”, “Lodge/Outfitter/Guide Service Promotion” films will be accepted.

Only 8 to 10 films will be selected for the 2008 tour and competition will be stiff but you have a chance at gettin your film in front of over 20,000 people!
