Monster Bows
We just arrived at Jurassic lake after a long 8 hour drive through the windswept interior of Patagonia. After one day on the water we can all say that this is easily one of the best wild rainbow fisheries any of us has ever experienced. Big fish after big fish has left us frothing at the mouth.

This lake is literally UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Holy Shit!
Yeah, I'm jealous.
That really is unbelievable. I wish I could have been their to hear Christers reaction when he landed that fish. Cerdo Gordo!
Damn! Did you guys get a tape on that first one? Never in 3 years of Alaska guiding did I see a bow that huge. I did see one Char pushing that size and a big fat Laker that was almost as big around as me. But damn.
Jurassic, indeed.
unbelievable!
Great! How did access Lago Strobel? The lake is surrounded by several ranches. My Argentine friends tell me some landowners charge $$ to use their land for access, but others don't charge at all. I'm planning to fish the lake in March.
Hi guys, welcome back and hope you have a great time again!!!
Just one thing...
Is it too hard to call Lake Strobel by its own name?
That Jurassic thing...you should know better...it is so disrespectful for Argentine people...
Ask Christer.

So can you fish this place DIY or do you have to go through LoopAdventures. As an avid lake fisherman I only need a place to stay and a way to access the lake. Don't need a guide necessarliy. Would love to go here but not sure its within my pocket book. Have sent loop an email asking what the price is for a week long trip there. The only thing I can find on their website is the combo trip which I am not interested in.
Unbelievable football fish! Great photos!
