Las Buitreras

We are now staying at Estancia Las Buitreras at the Loop Adventures camp, saying this place is 'nice' doesn't do it justice, it's beyond nice, too nice for us actually! So why are we here you ask? We have been traveling with Martin Falklind of EcoFilm ( a Swedish fly fishing media company...), he is producing a series for Scandinavian TV, and for one of the segments, we are his subjects. So here we are, staying at a nice camp, eating nice food, and fishing for resident and sea run browns. Life is good.

Lago Strobel

Like others have said, we have been fishing Lago Strobel, it has been an experience like none I have ever seen. The size and number of the fish have been totally amazing. We have been hanging out with our boys at Loop, testing rods, reels, and having a good time, Argentina is awesome.

Now we are on the way to Rio Gallegos, to fish sea run browns for a few days, wish us luck.

Monster Bows

We just arrived at Jurassic lake after a long 8 hour drive through the windswept interior of Patagonia. After one day on the water we can all say that this is easily one of the best wild rainbow fisheries any of us has ever experienced. Big fish after big fish has left us frothing at the mouth.

This lake is literally UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Buenos Aires

Hola,
We just landed in Buenos Aires, Argentina and will be traveling around Patagonia for the next two weeks. It's 4am, and we just got in from a late night meal down the road from our place.

I will submit more photos after we return from 'Jurassic Lake' with the Loop Tackle crew some time next week. Until then, here are a few photos from our trip so far...
